Registering for a match on Practiscore

To participate in our monthly matches you will need to register for the event on Practiscore.  Registration usually opens up the Sunday before the match at 8AM and you must register no later than 8PM Thursday prior to match day.

1. If you don’t have a Practiscore account, follow these instructions to create an account with Practiscore.  Once that is complete, return to these steps and complete your match registration.
2. Go to Practiscore’s website at https://practiscore.com/
3. Click on the Matches link in the upper left menu.
4. Type Shongum in the Search box and the results will automatically update to show you the upcoming match. Note, you can also click on this link to go right to the search results: https://practiscore.com/search/matches?query=shongum
5. Click on the name for the upcoming match.
6. Fill out the registration form following these guidelines
   1. Your Name and Email will automatically populate based on your Practiscore profile
   2. If you are a member of USPSA, enter your Member Number with no spaces or dashes (letters and numbers only). If you do not have a USPSA number, you can enter N/A for now.
   3. Select your Division.  If this is your first time and you are unsure which Division to select, choose Production if you have an unmodified handgun with iron sights or Carry Optics if you are using a red dot/reflex sight.  The match staff will confirm your selection when you check in and help you select the proper option.
   4. Select the Power Factor appropriate for your Division.  For Production, Carry Options, and PCC, you must select Minor. The match staff will confirm your selection when you check in and help you select the proper option.
   5. Select the Class you have achieved for your Division. If you are unsure what to select, choose U for Unclassified.  The match staff will update your classification before the start of the match.
   6. Select any Categories that are appropriate.
   7. If you are a Shongum Club Member or an active, certified USPSA Range Officer, check off the appropriate option.
   8. If this is your first time participating at a Shongum event or you would like a refresher on the match rules, select Yes for USPSA Introduction Required.
   9. Read and agree to the terms of the Waiver.
7. Click the Register button to complete the process.
8. A message will display confirming that you are registered for the match. Scroll down to the bottom of the confirmation page to view squadding options.
9. Select a squad to join and click the confirmation button to Yes! Squad Me!
10. Click the Squad Me button in the bottom right corner to complete the squadding process.
11. Congratulations! You are now registered for the match and part of a squad.  Note, while the match staff will do everything they can to maintain your original squadding selection, there are times that you will be moved to another squad based on RO availability and overall match participation.
